I began making knives in 1983 at the age of 12. My passion for knives has led me on a fantastic journey. After serving in the U.S. Army as a NBC Recon specialist, I earned my degree in Machine Shop Technology. The machinist skills helped open up a whole new world of design possibilities for me. I have been blessed to have won many awards for my knives over the years. I am honored to be the current president of the Knifemakers’ Guild. I specialize in folders and fixed blades with an emphasis on complex design. On of my specialties is a hand rubbed high mirror finish achieving a ½ micron finish by hand. Many of my designs are in the Fantasy genre but several are in the tactical or military genres as well. I strive for high finishes and tight tolerance in my pieces.
