My name is Ronmell Fernandes. I’m a Brazilian knife maker. I started making knives in 2018. I’ve been a member of ABS since 2021. Since I was very young, I have always been very involved with manual tasks and crafts. As an adult, I was interested in buying a knife and I began to research and see that there were handmade knives and a great culture around the production of handmade knives. Then I discovered great names in cutlery and decided to dedicate myself to the profession. I was a railway worker; a train driver and I started making knives during this period. Therefore, I had to choose one of the professions, the passion spoke louder, and I chose the cutlery. With In these six years of experience in the area, I realized that it was the right decision I had in my entire life. I am grateful to God for directing the choice I made between the professions. Today I seek to improve myself more and more in the techniques involved in this art.
