I was born in 1981 in Palermo (Sicily, IT), and studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence (Tuscany, IT), where I currently live and work.

        In 2018, I designed my first knife.  I immediately realized that I was drawn to the minutiae, the details, how the slightest variation of a curve could change the perception of the whole and provoke an emotional response. Since then, I have been searching for that hidden magic among the balance of forms. A magic that can also be found in the simplicity of a mechanism or in the shine of a finish.

        Over the years, I have discovered a subtle thread that connects the worlds of art, architecture, visual communication, and knife design. It is in this space of fascinating cross pollinations that I have found the inspiration for my personal research. Today, I work on the connection between the classical and the contemporary, and in my designs, I seek a synthesis  between elements of seemingly distant worlds, which, like everything that surrounds us, only make sense when they coalesce.
